Summary

The Order of April 2002 initiated cold zones in domestic refrigerators. A detailed laboratory study was performed in order to test the efficiency of the new appliances. The aim of the study was to provide objective information on the efficiency of thermostats and on the actual inside temperatures of refrigerators.
