Superconductivity in the USA.
Author(s) : WEINSTOCK H.
Summary
The review presents a summary and explanation of US government funding for superconductivity over the past decade. It further describes unique federal programs that are designed to stimulate industrial productivity in new technologies and that have accounted for unspecified amounts of additional R&D funding for superconductivity to commercial enterprises. Finally, several examples are given of major government programs, of industrial programs and one rather large university program.
