Summary
In the last number dedicated to the cryogenics technique were mentioned the installations allowing treatments by the cold on the whole body of sportsmen in order to accelerate their recovery. In this new paper another use of very low-temperature is evoked which is known as cryosurgery. The history of this technique is related, its advantages and its disadvantages as well as the technical means used to apply the cold but also to control it. Eventually, some of the laboratories practicing this technique and participating in the intensive fight against cancer will be named.
