Summary

EXHAUST AIR HEAT PUMPS ARE THE MOST COMMON IN NEW BUILDINGS IN FRANCE. THANKS TO CONTROLS MADE ON EIGHT PLANTS, SOME AVOIDABLE DIFFICULTIES WERE REVEALED, LEADING SOMETIMES TO SEVERE FAILURES. IF THE BUILDINGS ARE INSULATED, THE CONSUMPTION IS 14 TO 15 KILOWH PER USEFUL M3 PER YEAR, ALLOWING FOR THE CONSUMPTION OF ANCILLARIES OVER THE WHOLE YEAR, OF THE EFFECTS OF THE PARTIAL CENTRALISATION OF HEATING AND OF AN IMPERFECT PRIORITY GIVEN TO HEAT PUMPS IN MID-SEASONS. THE AUTHOR THINKS IMPROVEMENTS ARE POSSIBLE.
