Systematic study of imperfect cycles.
Author(s) : FEIDT M.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The author shows how the thermostatics applied to the perfect Carnot cycle can be extended to the thermodynamics of the associated irreversible "Carnot" engine. Than he tries to extend the same process to other engines, particularly those related to Otto-Beau de Rochas, diesel, Brayton-Joule, Stirling, and Ericsson cycles.
