Summary

THE AUTHOR DISCUSSES THE USE OF CONDENSING PRESSURE VALVES AS A MEANS TO SAVING ENERGY. HE CONCLUDES THAT GRADUATED-ACTING IMPELLER CONTROL OF THE CONDENSER FANS, IN CONNECTION WITH A COMBINED INTEGRATED-MODULATING REGULATOR RUN BY MICROPROCESSOR, IS CURRENTLY THE MOST EFFECTIVE AND ECONOMICAL WAY TO LIMIT CONDENSER PRESSURE. IT ALSO MAKES LESS NOISE THAN ON-OFF CONTROL, AND ITS GREATER INITIAL INVESTMENT COSTS ARE MADE UP FOR IN ENERGY SAVINGS. M. C.
