AIR-COOLED PACKAGED AIR CONDITIONERS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED AND IMPROVED IN ORDER TO MEET INCREASING MARKET REQUIREMENTS. THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY HAS BEEN IMPROVED BY 15% AND THE SIZE AND WEIGHTS OF UNITS HAVE BEEN DECREASED BY 50%. THESE IMPROVEMENTS HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITH NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN THE DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE OF COMPRESSORS AND HEAT EXCHANGERS, LOW SOUND LEVEL HIGH CAPACITY FANS, IMPROVED REFRIGERATING CYCLES AND THE APPLICATION OF ELECTRONIC CONTROLS MONITORED BY MICROCOMPUTERS.
