DESCRIBES A NEWLY DEVELOPED AIR CONDITIONER COMBINED WITH A THERMOSIPHON SYSTEM WHICH USES COOL OUTDOOR AIR FOR INDIRECT COOLING. STATES THE AIR CONDITIONER IS APPLICABLE TO DATA COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT ROOMS AND SIMILAR AREAS WHERE THERE IS HIGH HEAT GENERATION AND WHICH REQUIRE A HIGH DEGREE OF TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY CONTROL AS WELL AS CLEAN AIR. AFTER A SERIES OF FIELD TESTS USING PILOT EQUIPMENT THE CONDITIONER HAS PROVED ITSELF IN PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS DEMONSTRATING HIGH ENERGY SAVINGS, MAINTAINABILITY, RELIABILITY AND ECONOMIC PERFORMANCE.
