THE AUTHORS SUMMARIZE THE PROCEDURE AND EQUIPMENT USED AND RESULTS OBTAINED DURING EXPERIMENT ON TEMPERATURE CHANGES IN A COMMERCIAL COLD ROOM OF APPLES. TEMPERATURE CHANGES AT 12 POINTS IN THE COLD ROOM (MEAN TEMPERATURE AND STANDARD DEVIATION) OVER A PERIOD OF ABOUT 6 WEEKS ARE TABULATED. THE AUTHORS GIVE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT.
