Summary

The laboratory results produced by the test method used for heat-proof gloves correlate well with the practical results of the wearing tests. This is not true when dealing with the method chosen for the accreditation of EN 407 standard for thermal protection gloves. The latter applies to heat conduction exchanges and can extend to radiation and cold-resistant gloves.
