TESTS WERE CARRIED OUT ON FAN-COIL UNITS WITH CONSTANT AIR VOLUME AND WATER FLOW RATE, IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS IN PLANT. THUS THE CAPACITY TRANSFERRED IS LINEARLY RELATED TO WATER-AMBIENT TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE. THE ERRORS MADE IN INDIRECT MEASUREMENTS AND THE REQUIREMENT OF A REVISION OF CURRENT STANDARDS ARE DISCUSSED.
