Test on operational properties of reefer containers for temperature sensitive cargoes.

Summary
In cooperation with the Dutch Bulb Transportation Board an acceptance procedure for containers carrying refrigerated cargoes under insurance against damage by heating was developed. The procedure comprises a field test of air circulation and renewal of the empty container, and an inspection of the temperature control and defrost system. In addition, for cargoes sensitive to low temperatures, a test of the temperature uniformity of the delivery air must be considered.
