A BURIED EVAPORATOR COUPLED TO A DIRECT CONDENSATION HEAT PUMP WAS TESTED. THE PLANT IS DESCRIBED AND MEASUREMENT RESULTS ARE GIVEN: DEVELOPMENT OF EVAPORATION TEMPERATURE AND THERMAL GRADIENTS IN THE GROUND DURING A HEATING SEASON.
