Type of article: Article
Summary
THIS STUDY RELATED TO THE ACOUSTIC BEHAVIOUR IN THE DIRECT TRANSMISSION OF WALLS COVERED BY USING VARIOUS THERMAL INSULATION PROCESSES, EITHER INTERNALLY OR EXTERNALLY (MINERAL WOOL, POLYSTYRENE, POLYURETHANE). IT GIVES A DISCUSSION OF RESULTS AND A TENTATIVE THEORETICAL EXPLANATION OF THE PHENOMENA OBSERVED. IT APPROACHES THE CALCULATION OF THE RESONANCE FREQUENCY OF A WALL ON WHICH A COMPOSITE WAS GLUED, IN TERMS OF THE GLUING FACTOR. THE PROBLEMS RAISED BY A WALL COVERED ON BOTH FACES ARE ALSO STUDIED.
