Summary
The authors have developed two types of air-conditioning systems for the Yamanashi Maglev Test Line vehicles, corresponding to high speed travelling at 500 km/h and other characteristic conditions of maglev vehicles that are not present in either conventional railways or aircraft. The performance of both systems in vehicle running tests are verified.
