The box conquers "living cargo"/ Le conteneur à la conquête des denrées périssables.

Summary
World trade and world freight traffic are currently growing faster than world gross national product, i. e. the sum of all generated goods and services. 95-98% of the international goods flow is carried on ships, which transport these articles of trade with little energy and at the lowest cost of all forms of transport. The container has transformed breakbulk into uniform bulk cargoes. This development even extends to perishables - "living" temperature-sensitive goods.
