Summary

DEEP FREEZING BY NEEDLE PENETRATION THROUGH THE SKIN TO RELIEVE PAIN IS A NEW TECHNIQUE IN CHINA INITIATED BY THE AUTHORS' HOSPITAL. THIS TECHNIQUE IS RARELY REPORTED ABROAD. PRELIMINARY RESULTS ARE SATISFACTORY. ALTHOUGH THIS KIND OF TREATMENT IS QUITE PROMISING, IT HAS ONLY A SHORT DURATION OF CLINICAL APPLICATION. FURTHER STUDY AND CLINICAL TRIAL ARE DOUBT-LESS NECESSARY.
