Summary

The paper states that the heat flux does depend considerably on environmental conditions. On the basis of two testing methods (DIN 4715 and NORDTEST NT VVS 078), it was shown that deviations can be as great as 15%, depending on ceiling type, size and operating state. The paper also discusses the dynamics of cooling ceilings. The model found was verified with thermographic research.
