Summary

The effect of short-term storage (2 days) of 'Honeoye', 'Salut' and 'Rosie' strawberry runner plants in an air-refrigerated store at 2°C on their rooting, further growth and yielding was evaluated. It was found that storage of runner plants at 2°C for 2 days influenced the total root length only in the case of 'Rosie'. Three weeks from the beginning of the experiment the total root length of 'Rosie' was higher compared to that of the plants not treated with low temperature. The storage conditions had no effect on further growth, yield and fruit quality.
