Author(s) : OGAWA T., OKADA R., CHIWATA M., MATSUMOTO K.

Summary

The authors focused on the adhesion of ice to which ionic surfactant was added and investigated the change in adhesion of ice due to the application of voltage. Then it was clarified that the adhesion force was affected by varying the intensity of voltage application and the concentration of surfactant. In this paper, experiments were conducted on ice with anionic surfactant at various concentrations under voltage application in order to enable control of adhesion. The characteristics of the adhesion force caused by the anionic surfactant were clarified by comparing the results of the voltage-applied and non-applied experiments.
