THE EFFECT OF VALVE GAS FORCES ON COMPRESSOR BEHAVIOUR.

Summary

A VALVE CONTROL SYSTEM MEASURES THE FORCES OF GASES ON VALVES. THE VARIATION ON GAS FORCE IN FUNCTION OF TIME DURING THE OPENING TIME OF THE VALVE ISCOMPARED WITH THE GAS FORCE IN PERMANENT FLOW THROUGH THE VALVE FOR DIFFERENT OPENING VALUES OF THE VALVE. TWO OF THESE GAS FORCES, IN TERMS OF THE CHARACTERISTICS OF VALVE MOTION, ARE COMPARED WITH THE MATHEMATICAL FORM OF COMPUTER SIMULATIONS OF COMPRESSOR BEHAVIOUR. THESE THREE CHARACTERISTICS WERE INTRODUCED INDIVIDUALLY AS A VALUE IN A MODEL PROGRAMMED FOR THE DETERMINATION OF THE EFFECTS ON COMPRESSOR BEHAVIOUR.
