Summary
The paper analyses the energy consumption of room air conditioners in China. The energy conservation methods were analysed and compared technically and economically. The authors found that the manufacturing costs of the air conditioner must be decreased and the operation cost considering the influence on the environment should be increased. In addition, the limited energy value and the energy efficiency label of refrigerators are analysed and methods of improving the energy efficiency are provided.
