Summary
This article introduces the positioning of food facilities in a large-scale amusement park, and describes the characteristics of the food facilities for large-scale amusement parks in comparison with ordinary food facilities. Kitchen equipment, standardization of facilities and quality of the Universal Studio Japan TM are described from the point of view of the food service system. The facilities composing these systems and their characteristics, including the planning, designing and construction aspects, are discussed.
