The hunt for mould is open.
La chasse aux moisissures est ouverte.
Type of article: Periodical article
Summary
Common biocontaminants in interior environments, moulds are likely to develop on any type of medium once they find favourable conditions (temperature, water content of the contaminated product). However, these microorganisms are major pathogens. In this context, in order to try to reduce their proliferation in buildings, the microbiology laboratory of the CSTB has set up a protocol to assess the vulnerability of materials with respect to mould.
