States that dissatisfaction decreases during the first few minutes of exposure to indoor pollution such as human bioeffluents and environmental tobacco smoke. Considering this, it appears to be a strict criterion for dimensioning ventilation, that people should perceive the air to be acceptable immediately on entering a space from outdoors (theatre, lecture halls, etc).
