REPORT ON EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS WITH BOILING HELIUM I ON THE EFFECT OF INSULATION OF DIFFERENT THICKNESS AND DESCRIPTION OF THE EQUIPMENT USED. FORMULA FOR DETERMINING WITH SUFFICIENT ACCURACY THE SUPERCONDUCTING TEMPERATURE AS A FUNCTION OF HEAT FLUX DENSITY, INSULATION THICKNESS, FLUID TEMPERATURE AND SATURATION TEMPERATURE. INSULATION CONSIDERABLY AFFECTS THE TEMPERATURE OF THE METAL.
