Author(s) : OCHKUR S. I., KOPEIKA E. F.

Type of article: Article

Summary

The effects of sharp cooling from 41 to 0 deg C, shift in osmotic pressure, cryopreservation (considered as a sum of factors) under protection of ethylene glycol and without cryoprotectant on the parameters of respiration, as well as the motility and integrity of the motion apparatus of spermatozoa, were studied. The character of damaging factors under experimental conditions is discussed along with possible causes of a loss of the viability of fowl spermatozoa.
