Summary

The present study deals with the behaviour of wettedness at the constant average skin temperature and with the effect of its characteristics observed on a equi-skin temperature line. The experiments were conducted on sitting-resting young male subjects dressed in athletic shorts. The authors conducted the studies in such environments that the average skin temperatures indicated in each environments be equal or close. As a result of theoretical investigation in full consideration of the above-mentioned items, the locus of the equi-skin temperature line is plotted as a curve, not a straight line on the psychrometric chart.
