THIS PAPER PRESENTS A SIMPLIFIED TESTING METHOD FOR AIR CONDITIONERS. IT CONSISTS IN TESTING THE AIR CONDITIONER WITH A SINGLE SET OF PARAMETERS AND MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO USE ANY OTHER SET OF PARAMETERS. THE AUTHOR STUDIES THE EFFECT OF THE TEMPERATURE VARIATION OF EXTERNAL AIR, INTERNAL AIR, AIR SPEED, ETC, ON THE ACCURACY OBTAINED AND CONCLUDES THAT THIS IS SATISFACTORY AS LONG AS THERE IS NO FROST ON THE EVAPORATOR.
