THE AUTHORS HAVE DEDUCED EQUATIONS TO REVEAL THE RELATION-SHIPBETWEEN THE OPTIMAL THERMODYNAMIC PERFORMANCE COEFFICIENT AND REFRIGERATING CAPACITY OF AN ABSORPTION CYCLE UNDER UNREVERSIBLE HEAT TRANSFER CONDITIONS. IN COMPARISONS WITH ORIGINAL EQUATIONS FOR CLASSICAL THERMODYNAMICS UNDER REVERSIBLEHEAT TRANSFER CONDITIONS, THESE NEW EQUATIONS POSSESS UNIVERSAL AND MORE PRACTICAL SIGNIFICANCE AND THEY GIVE MORE PRECISE GUIDANCE ON THE BEHAVIOUR OF AN ABSORPTION REFRIGERATING MACHINE.
