Summary
Ice slurry has advantages of good fluidity, large latent heat and the ability of fast releasing the cold energy. Its future is so bright that it is a good substitute of conventional coolant in the future. The paper did many experiments of different evaporating temperature and water flow, analyzed the influence factors for system stable working, supercooled water formation and ice making efficiency. Among these experiments, two ice block phenomena take on. It proved that ice block happen easier when using tap water than pure water. It is found that evaporating temperature and flow velocity have great impact on pipe interior frozen. After doing these experiments, the author designed the dynamic ice storage system. The system can produce slurry in high efficiency and stable working conditions compare with the conventional systems.
