THE SECOND LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS, ITS SYMMETRY AND REFERENCE TO THE EXPERIMENT.

Author(s) : MIECZYNSKI M.

Summary

AMONG THE LAWS OF THERMODYNAMICS, THE SECOND ONE HAS ALWAYS INSPIRED THE RESEARCHERS TODEVELOP EQUATIONS AND MATHEMATICAL MODELS. THE CLAUSIUS INTEGRAL WAS THE FIRST ANALYTICAL REALIZATION CONDITION AS WELL AS THE ASSESSMENT CRITERION OF THE PERFECTION DEGREE ION REAL CYCLIC PROCESSES. IN THIS STUDY, THE AUTHOR DETERMINED A SYMMETRIZATION OF THE CLASSICAL AND AXIOMATIC FORMULATIONS OF THE SECOND LAW, ON THE BASIS OF THE THEORY OF THE T. EHRENFEST-AFANASJEVA CYCLE, INTRODUCED IN 1925. THE POSSIBILITY TO SYMMETRIZE THE CLAUSIUS INTEGRAL TO A NEW FUNCTION (PART) OF VOLUME AND ABSOLUTE PRESSURE IN QUASI-STATIC AND IRREVERSIBLE PROCESSES WAS INVESTIGATED. THE THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS WERE COMPARED.
