Summary

A SIMULATION MODEL HAS BEEN DEVELOPED TO PREDICT THE PERFORMANCE OF VAPOUR COMPRESSION, ELECTRICALLY DRIVEN, AIR-TO-AIR OR AIR-TO-WATER HEAT PUMP SYSTEM OF THE PRIVATE HOUSE, A COLLECTIVE HOUSE OR A BUILDING FOR OFFICES IN THE COLD REGION. THE PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE AN ANALYTICAL DESIGN TOOL IN STUDIES DIRECTED TOWARD THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE HEAT PUMP EFFICIENCY OR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN AIR-SOURCE HEAT PUMP SYSTEM.
