Summary
Supermarket refrigerating plants traditionnally contained large quantities of CFCs, due to the large scale use of direct expansion circuits. Compact units with low refrigerant charge are more and more used to cool a secondary refrigerant, feeding all the units. This system is widely used in Sweden and the Netherlands.
