Summary

Describes how, in order to forecast the air flow and temperature behaviour of air conditioned rooms, the Launder and Sharma low-Reynolds number kappa-epsilon model has been implemented in the PHOENICS code and evaluated. States this model is based on the high-Reynolds number kappa-epsilon model which poses some problems such as overestimation of heat transfer and imprecise representation of boundary layers.
