Summary
A thermodynamic analysis was carried out to study the effect of design parameters including heat-recovery ratio, solution circulation ratio and distribution ratio of solution on the performance of a double-effect absorption chiller of the parallel-flow-type using water-lithium bromide as the working fluid. The optimum design and operating conditions of a double-effect absorption chiller are suggested based on this cycle simulation analysis.
