Summary

THE THEORETICAL STUDY OF HEAT PUMPING FROM THE GROUND MADE IT POSSIBLE TO SIMULATE THE THERMAL GRADIENTS IN THE VICINITY OF THE TUBE-EVAPORATOR AND TO ANTICIPATE INTERESTING RESULTS. EXPERIMENTAL MEASUREMENTS CONFIRMED THE GOOD PERFORMANCE OF THIS TYPE OF EVAPORATOR. THE MEAN OPERATING COEFFICIENT, DURING THE HEATING SEASON, IS SUBSTANTIALLY SUPERIOR TO THE COEFFICIENTS OBTAINED BY MEANS OF CONVENTIONAL SYSTEMS WITH GLYCOL WATER CIRCULATION.
