Discusses the main parameters of thermal comfort, and their combined effect on the occupants of controlled environments with the purpose of reminding building services, maintenance, building managers that the thermal comfort of a group of people is not solely dependent on the air temperature but is a sensation that may be described objectively by measuring the environmental variables and relating them to a thermal index.
