Are the hitherto-used criteria of Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) and Predicted Percentage of Dissatisfied (PPD) still valid?
Ist die bisherige Zuordnung von PMV und PPD noch richtig?
Author(s) : MAYER E.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The results of laboratory and field surveys oppose this statement, according to which the smallest possible percentage of dissatified persons concerning thermal comfort amounts to approx. 15%. Consequences of this are either the acceptance of the increased dissatisfied rate or (better) intensified efforts to achieve an adjustable room climate.
