THERMAL COMFORT AT WORKING PLACE.

Author(s) : BUTALA V., NOVAK P.

Summary

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE THERMAL ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS IS TO FIND OUT THE ACTUAL STATE OF THERMAL COMFORT AS THE RESULT OF ALL FACTORS WHICH EXERT A CERTAIN INFLUENCE AND WHICH USUALLY CANNOT BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT IN THE PROCESS OF DESIGNING. IN 2 BUILDINGS THE AUTHORS ANALYZED AIR CONDITIONING AT WORKING PLACES AND HAVING AN ARTIFICIAL CLIMATE. BY MEASURING THE COMFORT PARAMETERS AND BY USING QUESTIONNAIRES, THE AUTHORS REACHED A CONCLUSION: THE MICROCLIMATE MAY COMPLETELY SATISFY ALL THE REQUIREMENTS GIVEN BY REGULATIONS AND IN SPITE OF THIS PEOPLE STILL FEEL UNCOMFORTABLY.
