Author(s) : DEGIOVANNI A.

Type of article: Article

Summary

THE < THERMAL QUADRIPOLE > METHOD IS USED FOR THE RESOLUTION OF MONODIRECTIONAL TRANSIENT HEAT TRANSFER. IN THIS CASE, IT IS APPLIED TO SYSTEMS MADE OF VARIOUS MATERIALS, INCLUDING INTERNAL SOURCES, CONTACT RESISTANCES, BOUNDARY SOURCES AND INITIAL NON-EQUILIBRIUM TEMPERATURES. THE RESOLUTION IS MADE FIRST FOR A PLANE GEOMETRY BUT CAN BE EASILY EXTENDED TO CYLINDRICAL AND SPHERICAL CONFIGURATIONS.
