Summary

THE THERMAL EXPANSION OF SOLID DEUTEROHYDROGEN WAS STUDIED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE TEMPERATURE RANGE 1.2 TO 5 K. THE AMOUNTS OF ISOTOPIC IMPURITIES ARE 1.5% HYDROGEN AND 0.4% DEUTERIUM, THE OTHER IMPURITIES TOTAL LESS THAN 0.0005%. THE ISOTHERMAL COMPRESSIBILITY IS PREDICTED ON THE BASIS OF THE EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS AND LITERATURE DATA.
