Type of article: Article
Summary
Linear thermal expansion of solid deuterium with a para-fraction of 2.25% has been measured in the temperature range 1.1 to 5.6 K. The measured expansion is separated into the translational and rotational contributions. The lattice contribution can be represented as a function of temperature. The rotational contribution is analyzed.
