Refrigeration users have been confronted with a worrying growth in their energy bills and are increasingly switching to thermal storage: presentation of its principles: ice tanks, nodule tanks, "pack ice" (accumulation in the form of ice cubes), sorbet-making systems (thermal storage in the form of ice slurries, which could turn out to be the secondary refrigerant of the future!).
