Type of article: Periodical article
Summary
Thermal Energy Storage involves the use of HVAC equipment in combination with a tank to store cooling or heating during off-peak hours when electricity is less expensive. The stored energy is then used during on-peak periods to meet air conditioning process cooling, or heating needs. It can help also for fire protection.
