Summary

The aim of the proposed study is to calculate, using the equation of state for ammonia, the enthalpy and entropy of the solid reagent, by integrating ammonia's true properties. Results are presented in the form of h, Ln(P) and s,T thermodynamic charts generally used by refrigerating engineers. These charts enable rapid calculation of variations in enthalpy and entropy related to various processes in a real machine. The development of such a tool is designed to make analysis of thermodynamic cycles (using both thermodynamic principles) easier.
