Thermodynamic design data and optimum design maps for absorption refrigeration systems.
Author(s) : SUN D. W.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Up-to-date thermodynamic properties for water- lithium bromide and ammonia-water solution are compiled and are used in cycle simulation. Detailed thermodynamic design data and optimum design maps are presented. These results form a source of reference for developing new cycles and searching for new absorbent-refrigerant pairs. They can also be used in selecting operating conditions for existing systems and achieving automatic control for maintaining operation of the systems.
