Thermodynamic modelling of liquid overfeed and dry expansion feed central NH3 refrigeration plants to determine differences in energy performance.
Number: pap. 0008
Author(s) : NITSCHKE T., JENSEN S.
Summary
This paper presents preliminary results of thermodynamic modelling to determine the differences in energy performance between liquid overfeed and dry expansion central two stage ammonia refrigeration plants. Models of both plant types are created and influences of part load, ambient temperature and evaporator return line are discussed.
