Summary

In order to improve the operation of water-lithium bromide absorption cycles, the thermodynamic properties of a water-methanol mixture were measured with a zinc chloride-lithium bromide mixture. Within certain limits, it was possible to measure the solubilities, vapour pressures, density, viscosity, heat capacities, heat of dilution, of mixture, etc. These data are compared to those obtained with the binary mixture of water-lithium bromide.
