THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF 1,1,2,2 TETRAFLUOROETHANE (R134A) ARE DERIVED THEORETICALLY FROM A SET OF STATE EQUATIONS, INCLUDING THE REAL GAS P(V,T) EQUATION OF REDLICH-KWONG-SOAVE, THE WAGNER EQUATION FOR THE P(T) DEPENDENCE OF THE SATURATION PRESSURE ON TEMPERATURE AND TWO SIMPLE CORRELATIONS FOR THE SPECIFIC VOLUME OF THE SATURATED LIQUID AND FOR THE IDEAL GAS SPECIFIC HEAT AS FUNCTIONS OF TEMPERATURE. SATURATION (FROM 233 K TO 350 K) AND SUPERHEATED VAPOUR (UP TO 50 K SUPERHEATING) PROPERTIES (ENTHALPY, ENTROPY AND SPECIFIC VOLUME) ARE DESCRIBED IN TABLES. E. F.
